SANTA CRUZ, BOLIVIA — Former Stockade FC and Marist Men’s Soccer standout, Juan Parada has officially signed with Bolivian first division Club Deportivo Oriente Petrolero.
During his time at Stockade FC in 2018 and 2019, Parada made 17 starts and registered a staggering 1,479 minutes in the midfield. Parada’s career statistics with Stockade FC also includes 4 goals and 8 assists. Juan Parada was named to the 2018 All-NPSL First Team and to the 2019 Northeast Atlantic Best XI. Juan also featured in Stockade FC’s first-ever US Open Cup appearance, playing all 120-minutes in the overtime loss to Long Island Rough Riders.
Club Deportivo Oriente Petrolero has a rich history in Bolivia. The club was founded in 1955 and has won the División Profesional 4 times since its creation; most recently in 2010.
